BUITENPOST – Schrijver, illustrator en muzikant Daniel Mocci is van 1 februari 2024 tot en met 29 februari 2024 op residentie in Paviljoen MeM in Buitenpost. Hij organiseert daar in die periode verschillende gratis workshops, inclusief koffie en thee, openbaar voor geïnteresseerden. De workshops zijn gekoppeld aan het project ‘Wâlden op de kaart troch kultuer’ van Atsje Lettinga.
Daniel: “Learn to tell your own story: to build a story, your story, the story of your town, about your community, the people around you, yourself, what you see. How you structure that, how do you build characters, etc. Giving the tools to do that. A story does not have to be around heroes, everyone is worth a story. The more intimate you go, to more people you reach, and the more it is going to resonate. Art is communication. Learn to communicate better what you are trying to communicate.”
In de workshop leert Daniel je de vaardigheden om de geschiedenis en identiteit van je regio vast te leggen en er zo voor te zorgen dat deze bewaard blijft. Does Fryslân have a voice? Let’s find it.
